Celebrating Our Graduates: Washington Metalworks Welcomes Five New Skilled Tradespeople!

We’re thrilled to celebrate five of our apprentices who have recently completed their apprenticeships and transitioned into professional roles here at Washington Metalworks!

These apprentices have honed their skills and gained valuable knowledge thanks to the incredible support of SETA, our experienced staff and management team, and dedicated assessors.

A Commitment to Ongoing Development

Our commitment to our apprentices goes beyond graduation. We view this as the beginning of their careers with us, and we are excited to provide them with ongoing opportunities for development and growth. Washington Metalworks offers a clear career path for our apprentices, with opportunities for advancement throughout the company.

The apprenticeship program benefits our apprentices by giving them valuable work experience, qualifications and a head start in their careers, all while earning a salary. For Washington Metalworks, this program fosters a highly skilled workforce tailored to our specific needs. We achieve this by developing our staff through college providers, practical experience gained on the job and our structured program with wrap around support.

The Benefits of Apprenticeship Programs

Apprenticeship programs are mutually beneficial. Apprentices benefit from a clear career path, opportunities for advancement and the ability to earn while they learn. Washington Metalworks benefits from a highly skilled workforce with first class industry skills. Our new hires will have a strong understanding of the company culture, ensuring a smooth transition into our teams and business.

The Importance of SETA’s Support

SETA’s support has been instrumental in the success of our apprentices. They provide essential resources and programs beyond just the apprenticeship curriculum. These might include additional training workshops, mentorship opportunities or industry certifications. Their dedicated assessors really do play a vital role. They don’t just evaluate the apprentices’ skills, but also act as mentors, working flexibly, providing guidance and ensuring the apprentices are meeting all the requirements of the program, whilst focusing on getting them industry ready. This ensures our graduates are not only qualified, but also industry ready.

A Bright Future at Washington Metalworks

We are incredibly proud of our recent graduates and excited to see what the future holds for them at Washington Metalworks. We are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment where our apprentices can develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Let’s Give a Round of Applause to Our Newest Team Members!

Please join us in congratulating our amazing apprentices on their graduation! We are confident that they will make a significant contribution to our continued success!
