We prioritise ethically sourced metals throughout our supply chain. This means we actively research and partner with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible mining practices that minimise environmental disruption and ensure fair labour conditions.
But our focus doesn’t stop there. We also prioritise recyclable packaging wherever possible. This not only minimises waste at the end of a products life cycle but also encourages responsible consumer practices. By making it easier for our customers to recycle our packaging, we contribute to a more circular economy where materials are reused and given a new life.
Embracing Renewable Energy
We’re incredibly proud to announce that nearly all of the electricity that we use comes from renewable energy sources (as of 5th March 2024). This is a significant achievement that reflects our unwavering commitment to a cleaner future. By transitioning away from fossil fuels, we’ve dramatically reduced our carbon footprint.
But the benefits of renewable energy extend far beyond environmental impact. It also makes good business sense. Renewable energy sources help us manage our operational costs more effectively. Additionally, by embracing renewable energy, we’re positioning ourselves as a leader in sustainable practices, which resonates with environmentally conscious customers and attracts top talent who share our values.
Sustainable Transportation
Our green evolution doesn’t stop at the walls of our facilities! We’re actively transitioning our entire fleet of vehicles to electric alternatives. This includes everything from forklift trucks manoeuvring materials around our factory to the cars and vans used by our sales team and delivery personnel.
The benefits of electric vehicles go beyond just reducing emissions. Electric vehicles are also significantly quieter than traditional petrol/diesel powered vehicles, creating a more peaceful and healthy work environment for our employees, plus they require less maintenance, leading to lower operational costs over time.
